🌱 Getting started
LittleSparks Live Classes are small-group, teacher-led lessons that happen in real time, right inside your web browser. A certified teacher guides a handful of children through interactive games, stories and worksheets — it's the warmth of a real classroom, brought into your living room. Nothing is pre-recorded; your child sees, hears and talks with their teacher and classmates as it happens.
Our launch courses are designed for children aged 3–10, grouped by age and level so every class is pitched just right. We start with Junior & Senior Infant Maths and English Stories, with more subjects and age bands rolling out every term. If you're unsure which class suits your child, our team will help you choose.
Yes — completely free. Your first live class is on us, and we don't ask for any card details to book it. It's a genuine, no-pressure way to see how your child responds before you decide anything. Try it, watch their reaction, then choose what's next.
Booking takes just a couple of minutes. Head to the free trial page, tell us your child's age, and pick a class time that suits your family. You'll get a confirmation with a join link — and that's it. At class time, you simply click the link to join.
You'll create a quick parent account when you book, which gives you your dashboard for recaps, recordings, homework and scheduling. It takes moments to set up and uses the same trusted LittleSparks platform thousands of families already rely on for everyday learning.
We match each child by age and ability so the class feels just right — never too easy, never overwhelming. Groups are deliberately tiny (capped at 6 learners) so every child gets attention, airtime and encouragement. If your child needs a different level after the trial, we'll happily move them.
👩🏫 Classes & teaching
Live group classes are capped at 6 children. That's small enough for the teacher to know every child by name, give real attention, and make sure no one fades into the background. For families who want even more focus, 1:1 catch-up options are available on higher plans.
Classes run roughly 35–40 minutes depending on the course and age group — long enough to learn something real, short enough to hold a young child's attention. Sessions are paced with games and breaks built in so little ones stay engaged from start to finish.
Most families choose 2 classes a week, which builds a lovely rhythm without overwhelming anyone. If your child is loving it, our Intensive plan offers 4 classes a week. You can see the options on the pricing page and adjust as you go.
Every LittleSparks teacher is qualified, certified and background-checked, with real experience teaching young children. Beyond the credentials, they're chosen for warmth and patience — the kind of grown-up who makes a shy four-year-old feel instantly at home. You can meet a few on our teachers page.
Playful, hands-on and interactive. Teachers share our games, stories and worksheets live on screen and the whole group plays along together. Learning feels like fun rather than a lecture — children are doing, answering and laughing, not just watching. It's the same joyful content families already love, now live.
That's completely normal, and our teachers are brilliant with it. The tiny group size, gentle prompts and low-pressure participation (a quick raise-hand or a tap in the chat) help shy learners ease in at their own pace. Many parents tell us their once-reluctant child is putting their hand up within a few classes.
If siblings are close in age and level, they can often join the same class — many do, and they love it. If they're at different stages, we'll place each child where they'll learn best so neither is held back or left behind. Just let us know and we'll sort the right arrangement.
💻 Technology & safety
Very little — a device with a camera and microphone (laptop, tablet or phone), a normal home internet connection, and an up-to-date browser. A quiet corner and, in a busy house, a pair of headphones make things easier. If your child can watch a video online, you're already set up.
No downloads, no apps, no plugins. Classes run right inside your web browser. When it's time, you click your join link and you're in. We kept it deliberately simple so a class never starts with a tech headache.
Laptops, desktops, tablets and modern smartphones all work. A slightly larger screen makes it easier to see the shared games and worksheets, so a tablet or laptop is ideal — but a phone is perfectly fine for joining on the go.
Yes. Every class lives in a private, invite-only room tied to your account and booking — there are no public links floating around the internet, so strangers simply can't wander in. You can read more about how it works on our how it works page.
Absolutely — you're always welcome to sit in with your child, especially for the first few classes. And because every session is recorded and recapped in your dashboard, you can stay fully in the loop even when you can't be in the room.

🎬 Recordings & homework
Yes — every class is recorded automatically, with nothing for you to set up. The recording lands in your parent dashboard shortly after class, ready to re-watch whenever it suits. Perfect for revision, a missed day, or simply reliving a proud little moment.
Recordings stay available in your dashboard for the duration of your active plan, so you can revisit past lessons throughout the term. They're stored securely and privately for your family only — never shared or posted publicly anywhere.
At the end of each class, teachers assign short, playful follow-up activities drawn from the very content they just taught. It's light and fun — designed to reinforce the lesson, not to pile on pressure. A little practice between classes makes the learning really stick.
Everything lives in one place — your parent dashboard. Alongside the class recap and recording, you'll find the homework for that session, easy to open and do together. No hunting through emails or separate apps.
No problem at all. The class recording and recap are saved to your dashboard so your child can catch up at their own pace, and you can reschedule within your plan. Life happens — we've built in the flexibility so a missed class never means missed learning.
💳 Plans, billing & cancellation
You start with a completely free trial class — no card needed. After that, our Weekly plan (2 classes a week) and Intensive plan (4 classes a week) keep things simple, with everything from recordings to the parent dashboard included. See the full breakdown on the pricing page.
Yes — there are no long contracts and no lock-in. You can cancel anytime from your account, and you'll keep access until the end of your current billing period. We'd rather earn your stay each month than tie you down.
Of course. You can move between the Weekly and Intensive plans whenever your family's needs change — scale up if your child is loving it, or ease back during a busy stretch. Changes take effect from your next billing cycle.
